Challenge
The parochial church council election is of great importance to local communities, but engagement and voter turnout are often low.
For many Danes, the election feels distant and less relevant in everyday life. The Church of Denmark therefore needed to make the election more present and motivate more people to participate.

Solution
We found our starting point in something that already binds the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denmark together. Community singing.
A well-known hymn was rewritten with a new message: Use your voice. Not only in song, but also for the election.
The song was performed by the Herstedøster Church Girls' Choir and the boys from the Royal Danish Orchestra. The result was a campaign film that conveyed the message with both gravity and warmth.
The campaign was rolled out across media and social platforms, where the song acted as a unifying and recognizable element.
